Mi-8
Middle-size multipurpose twin-engine helicopter with classic arrangement
and five-blade bearing rotor and three-blade levelling rotor Mi-8 (code
name: NATO HIP) is one of the most wide-spread helicopters worldwide.
The
basic version of Mi-8 is intended primarily for transport of persons.
Mi-8S is a specially adjusted salon helicopter for transport of
important persons. The helicopter fuselage has classic construction from
light metal alloy. There are three seats in the pilot cabin. There are
spacious rolling door on the front left part of the fuselage and
double-wing freight door in the back. There are racks for 2 under-belly
fuel tanks with total capacity of 1,830 litres. The basic multipurpose
transport version manufactured in series can carry up to 24 persons.
