Twin-engine battle helicopter intended for direct support of land
forces, destruction of armoured targets and transport of persons or
cargo with transport possibilities. The construction is classic
conception with five-blade bearing rotor and three-blade levelling
rotor. The characteristic feature of Mi-24 consists is the cabin linked
directly with the pilot space intended for transport of live forces and
material. The helicopter is equipped with three-wheel aircraft landing
gear which is pulled in hydraulically.
